Grapes are Great

This post is an experiment. I have a theory and am testing it out with this brief article which is part of the A-Z Blogging Challenge for 2015.

I like grapes. Green ones and red/purple ones. They are very refreshing to the palate, and I love how they kind of burst in your mouth when you bite them. I can't eat too many of them at once though because my stomach rebels. I remember, as a child, always being concerned about whether the grapes had seeds or not. Nowadays, they are all seedless which is good.

What else can you do with grapes, aside from eat them fresh? How about grape muffins? A Great Grape Recipe

Any thoughts about grapes?

If you can identify what theory I am testing with this post, I will give you a free digital copy of one of my novels.

  1. Got nothing, never ate grapes in anything other than off the vine. Welcome in the letter "G"... thank you!

    1. Thanks for visiting Jeremy, and for taking the time to comment. Hats off to Willy Wonka...the wackiest chocolatier ever. Didn't Violet Beauregarde overindulge on one of Wonka's grape falvoured creations?

  2. Testing a theory, huh? It certainly isn't obvious to me, so I will guess that it has something to do with the image. Maybe that people will find the green grapes the most appealing since they are front and center? I don't like seeds either, but there is a special type of grape, maybe concord grape, that does have seeds, but it's so sweet, it's worth the trouble.

    1. Good guess Tamara, but no, that's not it. I've never heard of Concord grapes but I get the whole 'so sweet it's worth it thing' re seeds. I mean, who doesn't love a super sweet fresh cherry? Thanks for visiting Square Pegs, and for taking the time to comment. I'll send you an e-book version of one of my novels even though you were wrong about the theory. Let me know which one you'd like.

  3. I like grapes, and I often eat them with some French cheese. Color doesn't matter to me; green, yellow or red are fine. I don't like wine though. I prefer the grapes fresh.

Theory? Hmmm. That's a difficult one. Maybe since you talk about grapes developing from seed-filled to seed-less, I suggest good old Darwin and the theory of evolution, all.though the grapes represent man-made evolution. In nature, evolution takes a lot more time >:)

    1. You crack me up CA. You know, I'm a Christian right? I guess genetic engineering (of grapes) is a kind of evolution, but I suspect you are being deliberately provocative...and I like it. I'll send you a digital version of one of my books anyway. Let me now which one you'd like.
