What an injustice it is for people to expect so much of others, to condemn them when they fall, to criticize them when they err, to punish without mercy and ride them into their graves with unrelenting bitterness. Where is the grace? Easter is all about grace. God, through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ, not giving us what we deserve for our weakness, failure and sin. Instead of condemnation and death, God offers us a second chance. Hope. What a precious gift.
