Sometimes I think I'm all wrong for this world hence the title of my blog. They often aren't there to hold open minded discussions, but throw out their own opinions like walls. After getting to know individuals, it's easier to talk about the 'tabu' subjects. Abuse and ridicule are only weapons, not useful. I hope you don't let them get to you and continue to find people to really talk with.Tonja Dreckerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07683717853264134466noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6476099636163002549.post-47042717776071485222015-11-13T20:09:44.718-08:002015-11-13T20:09:44.718-08:00I guess I'm too much of an idealist. I know the taboo about religion and politics, but they are extremely interesting subjects, and I wish people could talk discuss them without resorting to abuse and ridicule. I will keep on believing that people can be both real and respectful. I also feel sad for narrow minded, negative and arrogant people. However I learned many years ago that I am not the Saviour. It's an old adage that one never discusses politics, sex or religion with others. You'll find perfectly nice people have very strange views, which will affect your perception of them, and you'll never change anyone's opinion. I admit to being drawn into arguments on Yahoo articles in the beginning. It took me a while to learn not to engage. It was a waste of time that could be put to better use engaging with happy, encouraging and helpful people. I'm glad you experimented, and I'm glad you stepped away. Time is precious, I hope you spend it with people who make you happy and make your life better. :) Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07735576044552810103noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6476099636163002549.post-76040099716610764752015-11-13T04:01:57.935-08:002015-11-13T04:01:57.935-08:00It happens sometimes.
